About the SACD - Becoming a Member

New members to the SACD are elected each spring as a current member's 3 year term expires. If your department will be looking for a new member, elections will be conducted by the current member who is leaving. In addition to elected members, appointments by the dean may be made to maintain diversity or obtain a member with a specific expertise. The Staff Advisory Committee strives to preserve diversity, remain gender-balanced, and include members from various professional backgrounds.
